Helloween was a German heavy metal band that began as the project of twin brothers Michael and Sascha Paeth in mid-1983. The duo recruited drummer Jens Ludwig and bassist Thomen Stauch, along with vocalist Michael Kiske. They recorded their first demo, "Keep Yourself Alive" which attracted attention from several record labels including Noise Records, who released their debut album "The Ultimate Sin" in 1985. They went on to release eleven more studio albums, as well as several live albums and compilations before splitting up in 2010.
